## What is Nearily?

Nearily is a coffee subscription platform for independent cafes in Saint Petersburg, Russia. One subscription gives users unlimited coffees across the entire partner network — so customers don't have to pick a single cafe, and cafes don't have to build their own app.

The product tagline: **one app. every cafe.**

Unlike chain loyalty (Starbucks, Costa), Nearily is built for independents: 12,970+ independent cafes operate in Russia, and before Nearily, none of them had access to subscription-grade infrastructure. Nearily closes that gap.

## How it works

### For customers
1. Download Nearily on iOS (Android coming)
2. Pick a subscription tier
3. Visit any partner cafe in Saint Petersburg
4. Show your QR at the counter — the cafe scans it with Nearily Plus
5. Enjoy your coffee. No payment at the counter, auto-tracked in the app.

Redemption limits are set per tier (daily caps) and reset each day. Cancel anytime — unused daily redemptions don't carry over, but there's no lock-in.

### For cafes
1. Apply through nearily.com or /cafe-plus
2. Get onboarded (setup typically under 2 hours)
3. Receive a unique QR scanner via Nearily Plus (plus.nearily.com)
4. Staff scans customer QRs to redeem subscriptions / stamp visits
5. Track everything — customers, visits, rewards, revenue — in the dashboard

Cafes keep full independence. Nearily adds a revenue stream and exposure to the network's subscriber base without replacing the cafe's brand, menu, or pricing.

### Nearily (iOS app)
The customer-facing app. Native SwiftUI, Firebase backend. Handles: map-based cafe discovery, subscription management, QR redemption, loyalty tracking (stamps/cashback), social features.

### Nearily Plus (plus.nearily.com)
The staff/operator dashboard. Next.js web app. Roles:
- **Admin** — full system access, analytics, user management
- **Partner** — cafe owner, manages their cafe(s), staff, chains
- **Manager** — cafe settings and staff assignments
- **Staff/Barista** — QR scanner access

Features: daily metrics dashboard, QR scanner, staff invites, customer history, AI analytics (Neo Analysis), chain/franchise management, support tickets, email system.

### Neo (Telegram bot: @nearily_bot)
AI assistant built on Claude by Anthropic. Multi-modal: understands text, voice, and photo input. Fluent in Russian, English, and Turkish.

Capabilities:
- Cafe discovery and recommendations
- Menu and latte art analysis from photos
- Personal coffee profile (learns taste over time)
- Stamp and subscription status lookup
- Support ticket creation via natural conversation
- Group chat support (add @nearily_bot to any group)

For cafes, Neo also offers: customer insights, review management, and menu intelligence.

### iiko integration
Partner cafes using iiko POS can integrate Nearily directly — redemptions sync automatically, no parallel system to maintain.

## Loyalty models

Cafes can choose (or combine):
- **Subscription** — unlimited coffees via Nearily app, flat monthly fee paid to Nearily
- **Stamps** — traditional "buy X, get 1 free" — cafe sets the count
- **Cashback** — percentage back on purchases, cafe-configurable

Stamps and cashback are set by individual cafes and redeemed only at that cafe. Subscriptions work across the full network.

## Privacy and data

- All user data stored in Google Firebase, europe-west1 (Belgium)
- Phone numbers verified via SMS.ru
- Partner cafes receive only stamp/redemption counts — never payment info, contacts, or PII
- Minimum age: 16
- Account deletion: data removed within 30 days
- No biometric data, no payment card data, no contact list access, no browsing history
- No third-party ad tracking on web or mobile

## Legal / terms summary
