# Why Nearily

Three people walk into a cafe: the person who owns it, the person behind the bar, and the person drinking the coffee. Nearily has to be worth it for all three. This page makes the case for each one separately.

## If you own a cafe

**You are not buying attention. You are building a habit.**

Every independent cafe in this city fights for the same person walking past the window. Advertising rents their attention for a day. A habit keeps them for a year. Nearily is the shortest path from "nice coffee" to "my cafe" — a loyalty programme you never print, your guest never loses, and you never pay per cup for.

- **Loyalty without plastic** — Stamps or cashback: you choose the model, you set the reward. Your barista taps once at the counter and it is done.
- **You finally see who comes back** — Cafe+ shows how many guests returned this week, which reward actually pulls people in, how your regulars behave. Decisions instead of hunches.
- **A place on the map of the city** — People open Nearily to find coffee near them right now. On that map an independent cafe sits next to every other one, not underneath somebody's advertising budget.
- **Your guests do the marketing** — A droplet is a photo somebody left at your counter. It lives on the city map for 24 hours and stays in your cafe's archive for good.

What joining looks like: one conversation to set your reward and your rules; a barista who learns the whole flow in a minute; and a month later, numbers you can read.

Saint Petersburg has one of the best independent coffee scenes in Europe and almost no shared way to find it. Chains have apps, points and a marketing department. The small cafe with better coffee has a paper card that gets lost in a coat pocket by March. Nearily exists to close exactly that gap.

## If you work behind the bar

**One tap at the counter. No new job on top of your job.**

You already have a queue, a grinder that needs dialling in and somebody asking whether the oat milk is barista edition. Nearily had exactly one design rule: whatever we add to your bar has to take less time than writing a name on a cup.

- **Two seconds, not two minutes** — Scan the guest's code, or type the four digits they read out. No account to create, no email to spell.
- **Works when they forgot their phone** — A phone number is enough. The stamp lands in their wallet anyway.
- **Rewards you cannot get wrong** — The app decides what is owed, so nobody has to remember whose card had nine stamps.
- **You get the credit** — Regulars are made at the bar, not in an app. Nearily just keeps the count.

If a feature makes a queue longer, it does not ship. That is the entire brief.

## If you drink the coffee

**Your coffee habit, turned into a passport of the city.**

You already buy the coffee. The only question is whether anything is left over when you do. With Nearily every cup is a stamp, every handful of stamps is a free drink, and the whole thing turns into a map of the places you have actually been.

- **Free coffee, honestly earned** — Stamps or cashback at every partner cafe, in one wallet. A chain's cafes share the same balance.
- **A map worth opening** — Partner cafes near you, with photos, addresses and your own progress at each one.
- **Droplets** — Photo moments left at a cafe, live on the map for 24 hours.
- **Friends** — Follow people, see where they are sitting right now, invite them for a coffee.
- **Leagues** — Every Monday the city starts over and stamps put you back on the board.

The app is free. There is no subscription, no plastic card, and nothing to pay at the counter beyond your coffee.
